I've been M.I.A. for a bit, but I'm BACK and ready to show you guys some really cool outfit ideas in the coming weeks. Work was crazy busy lately, and I moved apartments over the Fourth of July weekend, so my hands have been tied up with other responsibilities. But, I moved into my own apartment, which was kind of a big deal :), and I'm absolutely in LOVE with it. Anyways, back to talking about style!

I found this shift dress at J.Crew Factory earlier this summer, and I'd be lying if I didn't say it was a great staple piece to add to my closet. Having a "go-to" dress in a classic color on the bench for when you need something quick is a great thing to do - you never know when you'll be invited to do something last minute! I chose to go with a more casual look, and paired my dress with a bright neon embroidered clutch and silver block heels - a great option for any type of shower, a wedding, or really any reason to dress up just a little bit. The great thing about this dress though, is that it can also be worn to formal gatherings with a quick change of accessories. Versatility at its finest!

On another note, every time I've worn these heels I've gotten a TON of compliments on them, and they're only $36!! OH, and they're also some of the comfiest heels I own. You definitely can't beat that. As for the embroidered clutch; this was a rare find at TJ Maxx. One thing I've learned over the past couple years is that the key to finding those hidden gems at TJ Maxx is making frequent stops (And I've read in the past that they put out new merch on Thursday, FYI).

I'm so happy to be back sharing my ideas with you guys - keep checking back in the coming weeks for some new & exciting outfit inspiration! Happy shopping Loves! xoxo

I've always been one to push the limits a little bit and try new things when it comes to fashion. My latest "experiment" was layering dresses - why wear one dress when you can wear two?! I found this pink button up dress late last fall on clearance at Ann Taylor (I find the best deals you guys!!), and that's when the idea originally came to mind. The pink dress is about 3 sizes too big, but when worn completely unbuttoned and as a vest/layering piece over this white dress, size really doesn't matter. This adds a fun pop of color to my outfit, and is a great way to elevate a basic cotton dress. Oh, and I can't forget - it's also really fun to spin around in while wearing if you're still five years old at heart like me :).

I say this quite often, but don't be afraid to experiment and try new things with your wardrobe! It's a great way to expand your closet without spending any extra money. Happy shopping loves! xoxo

A couple weeks ago I posted about an off shoulder romper - I clearly love this trend!! Off shoulder pieces are so feminine, and can be outfitted to create many different vibes. I've tended to go with a more boho look when I've worn this trend, but I have my eye on a white off shoulder dress at loft that displays a very soft and delicate feel.

This top in particular is so unique - the pointed hem and fringe edging really make it stand out in a sea of more basic off shoulder options, and the color is one of my favorites. It's so bright and cheery - who could feel anything but happy when wearing yellow?! I also love the smocking at the top; the wider band is super comfortable, and doesn't ride up whenever I move my arms. Off shoulder tops with a skinny elastic tend to be a problem child! I paired this top with destructed white skinny jeans, gold jewelry and blue wooden platform heels from BCBGeneration. Believe it or not, these heels are SUPER comfortable, and combined with the off shoulder top, own the boho trend in an updated way. If you're heading to any festivals soon, try an off shoulder top with destructed light wash denim shorts; a fun and flirty outfit that will also keep you cool in the heat. Happy shopping Loves! xoxo

You know when you see something while you're shopping, and you get that feeling like, "I HAVE to have this?" You don't have any idea where you'll wear it at the time, or when you'll get the chance to wear it in the near future, but that piece of clothing just has to be yours...That's the exact feeling I had when I saw this dress at Lulu's. This dress is literally breathtaking; breathtaking in its appearance, breathtaking in its quality, and most importantly, breathtaking in how it makes you feel when you put it on. A girl can't ask for much more than that.

White and lace have both been trending this spring/summer, and they couldn't come together more perfectly than in a midi silhouette like this dress. It's clean, fresh and flattering for a variety of ages - a midi length is always a safe bet. The floral lace makes this dress perfect for a garden party or any type of bridal or baby shower - I'll take advantage of any chance I get to dress up! I've also thought about whether or not this would be a good option for a wedding, and I go back and forth on whether or not that's a smart idea - what are your thoughts on wearing white to a wedding??! Leave a comment below and let me know your thoughts! I've always been one to push the fashion "rules," but I'm very torn on this issue.

The word "maxi" no longer only refers to a flowy, floor length dress; maxi vests, maxi sweaters and maxi shirts, like this sheer floral number from Vince Camuto, are hitting the fashion scene in a very bold way. This gorgeous maxi shirt was featured in a New & Now fashion show put on by Boston Store, and I immediately snatched it up right after the show ended. It's such a "wow" piece, and really doesn't need any accessories since it has so much character and interest in the floral pattern. I paired mine with black liquid leggings and a light blue Calvin Klein heel - even though the maxi shirt doesn't have any blue in the pattern, this works because all of the colors are part of a pastel palette except for the pops of red. If leggings aren't your thing, pair this maxi shirt with black or olive green joggers; the athletic meets feminine vibe will have the compliments flooding your conversation. Vince Camuto has a great selection of maxi shirts, ranging from bold stripes to feminine florals like mine - definitely check it out for a fresh addition to your closet. Happy shopping loves! xoxo

Memorial Day marks the beginning of summer, and with that, lots and lots of weddings. I don't know about you guys, but I LOVE weddings. Dressing up, being surrounded by happy people, and dancing the night away with family and friends makes for a great weekend. Figuring out what to wear as a wedding guest can be a challenge sometimes though. You're not supposed to wear white (what are your thoughts on this??! I go back and forth on the issue), I try and stay away from the color that the bridesmaids are wearing, and you don't want to be too dressy or too casual. A lace midi dress is always a good option though - the length of the dress is appropriate for any type of wedding, the lace overlay is pretty and feminine, and a fun color like this emerald green makes a "wow" statement. With the lining of this dress being shorter than the lace overlay, it creates a younger vibe, making this silhouette an option for all ages. I paired this dress with a simple nude heel - not only does this elongate your legs, but I didn't want to take away from the gorgeousness of the dress. It is a statement all on its own! I found this specific style on clearance at The Limited, but I've seen great options at Express and Lulu's lately. Happy wedding season loves! xoxo

I can't tell everyone enough times how much I LOVE this look - it combines so many current trends that flow together in the best way possible. Not only are rompers the easiest/comfiest pieces to wear (especially in windy weather!), but the off-shoulder aspect elevates this look in a fresh way. Add to it this gorgeous boho floral pattern, and you have an outfit that screams summer. Thank you Express for designing such a great piece - you never let me down!

Whenever I wear an off-shoulder look, I always pair it with duster earrings. This is their time to shine! I decided to pair my romper with this simple gold pair from New York & Company, but a fringe earring would be adorable with this outfit as well. And PSA: New York & Company has THE CUTEST earrings/necklaces/bracelets right now. Check it out!...And we can't forget the shoes. Lace up everything has been all the rage this season, and these Dolce Vita heels are perfectly executed (and currently on clearance at Boston Store!). The first time I wore them, I had them on for over 10 hours and my feet never hurt once. I love when comfort and style come together in such a great way. Romper and shoes are linked below. Happy shopping Loves! xoxo

P.S. Don't mind my everlasting sunburn from Mexico. Eeek! Lesson Learned.

Everyone is saying that denim is huge this year, but does the denim trend really ever slow down? In my eyes, it's a staple that is always a great go-to option. The cut or style of the moment will definitely change, but denim in general is always "on."

And when denim is made into a jumpsuit, like this super soft tencel jumpsuit from Gap, can we really go wrong?! This is one of the comfiest pieces of clothing to grace the Earth this spring, and I can't get enough of it. And for all you tall girls out there like myself, this jumpsuit has adjustable straps so no worries about it being short-waisted!

Wear this jumpsuit all by itself (the crossback straps are such a cute detail) or pair with a blazer or duster cardigan. I chose a striped seersucker blazer to add some texture to the look and keep the color palette light. Mixing the prints a little further, I threw on some furry leopard heels for a fun effect. Since the blazer and heels are neutral colors, mixing these various prints and textures was more than ok! Link to the jumpsuit is below. Happy shopping loves! xoxo
