I don't know about you, but I've been LOVING this Indian summer! Sixty five degrees in November? I'll take it. I'll also take being able to wear skirts and dresses (with no tights!!) a few more times before I revert to my winter wardrobe of oversize sweaters and leggings.

I decided to pair this coated leather skirt with a sheer top and kimono sweater. The sheer top dresses up the look a bit, while the kimono sweater helps to keep the combination appropriate for Fall. This skirt is extremely versatile though, and can be outfitted for any season. To make this a more casual look, swap out the sheer top and shooties for a basic black long sleeve tee and some casual slip on sneakers (like these!). When it starts to get a little colder and your bare legs can't handle it anymore, slip on some tights and OTK boots, and finish off the look with a chunky turtleneck sweater. Looks like I have another outfit to put together for your guys :). Happy shopping Loves! xoxo

Patchwork denim and tweed are two of the hottest new trends to hit the fall fashion scene - talk about some fun, updated details! If I could wear this pair of patchwork denim from The Limited every day, I would. This is the most comfortable and flattering pair of jeans I've ever owned, and I feel great wearing them because of it! Wear them how you would any other pair of jeans - the patches add some extra flair, but will not take away from or clash with the top that you want to pair them with. And these jeans are work appropriate for casual Friday's (looking at all of you who are upset you "can't" wear your destructed denim to work) - it's a win-win!

I decided to pair my jeans with a tweed blazer and silk tank top. Tweed is coming back in a huge way this year, found mostly in that "third piece" item, such as a blazer, vest or jacket. This jacket in particular has some interesting pleat details along the sleeves and edges of the piece, along with a tie in the back - when I first spotted it, I knew it had to be mine! As far as accessories go, I decided to stick with the same color scheme, and went with basic black strappy sandals and this absolutely adorable Michael Kors bag. This bag might actually be perfect - its medium size keeps me from putting my entire life in it and weighing myself down, it has a full zip closure, and it also has a great pocket in the front that fits your phone. No more frantically digging through your purse when you're racing to answer an important call! Happy shopping loves! xoxo

I don't know about you, but it's hard for me to turn down happy hour with friends; it's a great way to relax after a stressful day at work, and, when the weather is nice, to check out new outdoor bars and restaurants (rooftops are my absolute fave!!). Layers and accessories are key for transitioning your outfit from work to happy hour though. When I was in New York recently, I wore this midi dress/vest/lace up heels combo to meetings with vendors (and a meeting with my company's CEO!) - I felt very put together and trend-right, and had more confidence in everything I did because I felt that I looked good. I'm a big believer in the saying, "Look good, feel good." When I went to dinner with one of my best friends after my meetings though, I wanted to be a little more casual. I ditched the vest and heels, and changed into some studded slip on sneakers - a ten second switch! Sidenote on these sneakers - the first time I wore them to work, I received a TON of compliments. Who doesn't love a little extra sparkle in their step? Cheers, and happy shopping Loves! xoxo

Happy Monday everyone! Today I'm sharing a trend that has taken a little bit of time to win me over: the slip dress. When I first noticed these creeping onto the fashion scene, I honestly thought they looked like nightgowns (some of them definitely still do), but I've come to realize how versatile they can be! The slip dress is a great option if you need an outfit that will easily transition from day to night. I topped mine off with an army green vest, and knotted the dress at the side to create a more casual look that's perfect for work or running around on the weekend. Remove the vest and release the knot though, and you're ready for a romantic dinner or a night out on the town. Happy shopping loves! xoxo

The new twin set isn't something you'd wear to the office; it's a lot more fun and exciting than that. Matching sports bras and running jackets in bright, bold patterns are the athleisure items to grab when you're running errands on the weekend, or going for a casual run after work. No thought required! Personally, I look forward to working out much more when I know I have a cute outfit to rock while pushing myself to get in shape. If you're going to put yourself through a tough workout, you might as well look cute doing it. It doesn't matter whether it's worn zipped or unzipped - this combo is sure to get you some compliments. Happy shopping loves! xoxo

Off shoulder everything has been HUGE this summer, and it's not going away any time soon. I have fully embraced this trend, whether it's a dress, top, romper, swimsuit, etc - check out some of my previous posts to see all the different ways I've worn this look! Showing off your shoulders creates a very soft and feminine feel, and with the flowy silhouette of this dress, any body type can rock it. What really makes this dress stand out though are the embroidery and fringe found along the hem; It's those subtle details that take a dress to the next level!

I completed the look by pairing my dress with lace up gladiator sandals from BCBGeneration (link below - and they're on sale right now!!) to create a subtle Grecian vibe. These sandals are super comfortable, and could not be any more adorable - I'm obsessed with the tassle detail on the ties! And I've received a TON of compliments every time I've worn them :). As far as jewelry, I kept it simple with a single monogram necklace from anthropologie so it didn't take away from the dress. Dress, shoes and necklace are all linked below - Happy shopping loves! xoxo

Throwing on jean shorts and a basic tee in the summer is an easy go-to outfit when you're in a rush to get out the door. But wearing the same basic outfit just because it's easy is a bad habit to get into; that's why having statement pieces, like this sleeveless vest, are always a good investment. Adding this vest and some lace-up block heels take a basic summer look from casual to edgy in under ten seconds (and side note - these are the comfiest heels I've ever owned!!). I can't even count how many times I've worn this vest over various outfit combinations - it goes with everything! Wear it to the office or to brunch on a Saturday morning - you really can't go wrong. Many retailers are coming out with more sleeveless vest options in their fall lines. Check out this bright pink sleevless jacket or baby blue drapey open front vest at The Limited! I personally have my eye on both :) The "third piece" is going to be huge this fall! Happy shopping loves! xoxo

If you're familiar with The Bachelorette (let's be real, who hasn't gotten sucked in yet?), then I'm sure you've noticed that JoJo really likes her crop tops; whether she pairs them with denim jean shorts or a midi skirt, she seems to sneak one in every episode. They're made for everything from working out to going out to wearing at the beach. I personally love a good crop top in the summer as well, but I wear them a little more sparingly. When I was at Forever 21 about a month ago, I saw this pale pink lace crop top and snatched it up right away. The high neck combined with the scalloped lace at the bottom gives off such a feminine vibe, and really balances out a bare stomach. My personal rule with crop tops is that if you're already showing your stomach to the world, the rest of your top should lean a little more conservative. I paired mine with flowy floral pants (also from Forever 21) to create a summery boho look. Throw on a neutral colored wool floppy hat and you're ready for Saturday brunch or an afternoon shopping trip in the city. This is also a great festival outfit, but be careful of others stepping on the bottom of your pants - I'm 5'10" and these pants still drag a bit! Not a fan of the pants? Swap them out for a maxi skirt to create a similar effect. Happy shopping loves! xoxo
