Happy Thursday lovelies! Only one more day until the weekend!! Does anyone have any fun events they're looking forward to? I'm crossing my fingers for some nice weather so I can twirl around in this little number on a rooftop somewhere!

Ruffles are everywhere this season, and I love how this dress combines them with the cold-shoulder trend to make a bold, yet not over-the-top statement. It's eye-catching, comfortable and can be dressed up or down - how many dresses can you say that about?? I decided to accessorize with a floral applique clutch and sparkly block heels for a dressy casual date night look. If you're wanting something a little more low key, simply pair with some white sneakers. Keep necklaces and earrings to a minimum here though as to not take away from the ruffle details - this should be the focal point of your outfit! And as an added bonus, ASOS is having a huge 50% off sale right now! If you need me, you know where to look. Happy shopping loves! xoxo

With off-shoulder tops only increasing in popularity this summer, my closet is gaining more and more of them. The one problem? Even though my office has a business casual dress code, off shoulder tops are not seen as appropriate workwear because of the "shoulder-baring" aspect of this style. Of course, I needed to come up with a way to get around this so that I can show off this cute trend - one idea that came to mind was layering a tank underneath, essentially turning my off-shoulder top into a cold shoulder, and I'm SO happy with the final look! A little creativity and time to dig through my closet was all I needed to take this top from strictly weekend wear to office appropriate - all styles linked below! Happy shopping loves! xoxo

Happy Thursday loves! I am SO excited to be showing you this outfit - I've been wearing each piece separately on repeat, and can't get over how well it all came together for this look! This is easily one of my favorite outfits so far this summer! I don't know about you guys, but I love mixing unexpected patterns to change things up every once in a while. This combination works for three reasons:

  • The color palette between the dress and sandals mixes well and doesn't clash - the commonality of white in each pattern helps tie these together!
  • The prints are not overly loud - since they aren't "screaming" at you when you look at them, there isn't one pattern that takes over the total look.
  • The two prints are far enough apart from each other that it's almost like you're looking at one print at a time.

Also, this denim jacket is to die for - light wash and destructed is very in, and darker wash jackets are fading out. The denim jacket itself will never go out of style, but the popularity of wash/details and silhouette will change. This is the perfect third piece to complete any outfit for your summer nights! And these gingham sandals? So on trend right now. Get your hands on anything gingham that you can - this is the print of the summer! Happy shopping loves! xoxo

I love a good pop of color, and this top couldn't be any more spot on! The bright floral embroidery combined with the off shoulder silhouette (one of my favorite trends of the moment) makes this piece a standout in your closet and on the street. I paired this top with a lighter wash jean from BLANKNYC for a little contrast against the black background. Have you guys tried released hem or step hem jeans? I can't get enough of them! And the best part is that these are office appropriate for work! What are some of your favorite summer trends of the moment? Leave a comment below! Happy shopping loves! xoxo

Flamingos? On a dress? YES PLEASE. I don't know about you guys, but I have been noticing flamingos on everything lately. Whether it's an item of clothing, dinnerware, or a cute little necklace, this trend is taking over the market. When I saw this dress, it was an immediate buy - I figured I can't be anything but happy when I'm wearing a bright pink flamingo dress! Not to mention, the feather print on the back is nothing short of adorable. Hate to see her go, but love to watch her leave? Yeah, you could say this dress fits that. As far as fit, I'm wearing a size 6 - this dress runs true to size! And not to mention, a perfect length, especially for all of us tall girls!

Ok, and for a fun side note/detail about me - my boyfriend actually calls me Mingo. He says that when I lock my knees, they bend backward slightly, which reminds him of a flamingo's legs. Does that mean my knees are double jointed?? Anyway, just another reason that I had to buy this dress :). Happy shopping loves! xoxo

The off-shoulder neckline (or lack of neckline?) is back, and it's here to stay. If you guys can't already tell, I love love love this trend, and will take full advantage of it's popularity this summer! Whether it's a dress, top, romper or jumpsuit, I will be wearing this style non-stop. This gorgeous number from Loft does an amazing job of combining the off-shoulder trend with an eye-catching detail: crochet. And if that didn't already make this dress a must have, you can also adjust the length of the sleeves! This is a true summer staple. If you haven't already clicked through the link to Loft's website, go now! This dress is on sale, with an extra 40% off on top of that - what a steal!! I didn't accessorize much because I wanted the crochet detailing to be the focal point of my outfit, but I added a pop of light blue with my shoes for a little extra color - these are the comfiest sandals ever, and I plan on buying in every color. Well, maybe not every color, but a girl can dream right? Happy shopping loves! xoxo

Off shoulder? Check. Stripes? Check. A dress that can be worn more than one way? Sold. I can't get enough of this gorgeous midi dress from Loft - the length is ultra feminine and flattering, and the ruffle detail truly makes this piece stand out from the crowd. The best part though? The tie straps can be tucked into the dress if you want a true off shoulder look! As far as accessories, I decided to go very simple to keep the focus on the stripe and ruffle details of the dress - just a floating diamond necklace and casual platform sandals. I found these sandals last summer, so I've linked a few similar styles below! Oh, and did I mention this dress is currently on sale?? Happy shopping loves! xoxo

Confession: I bought this dress about a month ago, and I've already worn it four times - to work, to date night, to a birthday dinner celebration, and to a baby shower . I just can't get enough of it! And lucky for you, this dress is now on clearance for over half off - literally drop everything you're doing and buy this dress. Not only does it have sleeves so it can be worn in early spring when it's too cold for all of your short sleeve and sleeveless dresses, but it is unbelievably comfortable. And let's not forget about the bell sleeves and subtle drop-waist ruffle, making this dress ultra feminine, and oh so trendy. I accessorized with a chunky choker necklace in a blush pink color to bring out the pattern in the dress, along with lace-up sandals and a classic stack of Alex and Ani bracelets. Everything is linked below along with alternative options! Happy shopping loves! xoxo
